Back Story:

This trio of Enteloma holoconiotum was spotted when I was having lunch along a spring snowmelt hike. I love how tightly they are bunched together like a little family unit, each one wrapped around the other two in a protective formation. When deciding on what angle to shoot them from, I noticed the 3 huge pine trees behind them, which gives the shot a great visual juxtaposition between old and new, large and small.
