Back Story:

This composite is a blend of two of my favorite shots. Sunsets have long been my happy place, as I‘m always seeking out great spots, and guarding their locations religiously. As I was thoroughly enjoying this one, I couldn’t help but notice the colors in the sky would compliment perfectly with a gilled mushroom shot I had taken previously. This piece gives me the feeling of how interconnected the entire natural world is with the fungal kingdom, and how significance and size are just a matter of perspective.
